For all data that says Box.com, there is a Box Account for NCARPO.  Go to Box.com and hit sign in. Use the username and password that was sent to you (no need to download an app). Double-click on NCARPO folder. All other data, click the link.

InfoUSA data— Box.com

 2014 data from NCDOT (~100MB). This includes the pre-verified and verified data for all of North Carolina. It has a lat/long for every business location. It has attribute info covering NAICS codes, number of employees and much more. There is additional documentation including a data dictionary. Please do not share data outside RPOs.

Title VI ACS data–Box.com

It is 2009-2013 ACS data, down to the block group level. It is ~260MB. The useful part is the geodatabase. Within it, use <CompleteData>. It has data by county, census tract aACSScreenshotnd block group for a selected set of socioeconomic variables, including poverty, age, race, language and other attributes that are useful for Title VI/environmental justice.

The latest in commuting data for NC. It is a geodatabase. There are three files. Commute_line has Incommute (Commuters) and Sum_Commut (the total of commuters and workers). Workers can be calculated by subtracting.

2009-2015 VMT–box.com

VMT2009-2015

I took the spreadsheet from NCDOT and joined all of the County data from 2009-2015 to a county shapefile. The spreadsheet contains much more data but there was a methodology change between 2008/2009 that makes the older data not directly comparable to the later data.
